Melvo was born over coffee in the laneways of Melbourne.
Part ‘damn-the-man’ and part ‘shameless self promotion’, Melvo’s main aim is to provide a place for great independent Melbourne voices to be heard.
The idea came from the little ‘gen-Y’ on the site – Zoe.
After working as a creative writer in Brisbane for a year she saw the benefits of having an independent voice network (check out www.BrisVo.com for awesome Brisbane voices).
Now back in Melbourne, and working with great independents every day as a radio creative- she realized Melbourne could benefit from a place for independents to call home too! Cue… 5 strong lattés and MelVo!
